School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist
Location: South Bradenton, Florida
Job Type: Full-time & Part-time Contract Positions available.
Assignment Dates: ASAP - June 2025
Caseload: PreK - 5th, some students with Autism on caseload.

We are currently working with a great school district in South Bradenton that is seeking a passionate and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for the current school year.
Job Requirements & Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Active Florida SLP licensure.
- Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) is preferred.
- Previous school-based experience is highly preferred, but not required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech and language disorders in students.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with communication needs.
- Provide direct therapy services to students both one-on-one and in small groups.
- Monitor and document students’ progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
- Collaborate with teachers and school staff to integrate speech and language goals into classroom activities.
- Educate and support parents and guardians on strategies to support their child's communication development.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of educational plans.
