Full-Time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Bridgeport, CT (2024-2025 School Year)
ProCare Therapy is actively seeking full-time Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) for multiple positions in Bridgeport, CT, for the 2024-2025 school year. We welcome new graduates (CFYs) as well as experienced SLPs (CCC-SLP)—supervision is provided for Clinical Fellows!
Position Details:
- Schedule: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
- Paperwork Time: 1 hour per day
- Start Date: ASAP – End of the 2024-2025 school year
- Caseload Options:
- High School SLP: Supports self-contained classrooms with students diagnosed with intellectual disabilities (ID), autism spectrum disorder (ASD), and other health impairments (OHI).
- Itinerant SLP (PreK-8 & Community-Based Preschool): Serves students at a PreK-8 school (3 days/week) and community-based preschoolers (2 days/week), all in general education with related services.
- Itinerant SLP (PreK-8 & Charter School): Works with PreK-4 students at one school (3 days/week) and PreK-8 students at a charter school (2 days/week), including self-contained classrooms.
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Connecticut SLP license
- ASHA CCC-SLP preferred, but CFYs accepted (supervision provided)
- Experience with ASD, ID, OHI, and self-contained settings preferred but not required
