Full-Time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) – Avondale, AZ
Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) for a full-time position with school districts in the Avondale, AZ area. This is an excellent opportunity to support students in their communication development while receiving competitive pay and benefits.
Qualifications
To be considered for this role, applicants must meet the following state and district requirements:
- Hold a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Possess an active Arizona Speech-Language Pathology license
- Obtain an Arizona Department of Education (ADE) Speech-Language Pathologist Certificate
- Hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA (preferred)
- Hold or be eligible for an IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Meet all local and state requirements for working in a public school setting
- Have prior experience as a Speech Language Pathologist, preferably in a school environment
Applicants who do not meet the above qualifications will not be considered for this position.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities for this role include:
- Conducting assessments and evaluations to diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders
- Developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs
- Providing direct therapy services to students in individual and group settings
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student progress
- Maintaining accurate documentation and ensuring compliance with state and district regulations
