Full Time Speech Language Pathologist Opening - Hiring near Pomona, California
Soliant is seeking a passionate and qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to fill a full-time position in Pomona, CA. Whether you’re a Clinical Fellow (CF) or an experienced CCC-SLP, we are looking for an enthusiastic SLP to provide support to students and help them overcome speech and language challenges in a school-based setting. Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to evaluate students’ speech and language needs.
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers, parents, and other specialists.
- Provide direct therapy services to students, using evidence-based practices to improve speech, language, and communication skills.
- Document student progress, and track and update IEP goals.
- Collaborate with teachers and school staff to integrate therapy techniques into the classroom environment.
- Attend IEP meetings, parent conferences, and team meetings as needed.
- Manage caseload efficiently and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current ASHA Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility to begin a Clinical Fellowship (CF).
- Active California SLP License and California Teacher Credential for school-based positions.
- Ability to work with a variety of student needs in a school setting.
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaborative skills.
- Previous experience in a school-based setting is a plus but not required.
California State Requirements:
- Must possess or be eligible for a California SLP License issued by the California Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology and Hearing Aid Dispensers Board.
- Must hold a California Credential for Speech-Language Pathologists in school-based positions.
- Must complete background checks, including fingerprinting, as required by California law for working in schools.
