Full-time Speech-Language Pathologist Needed in Portland, OR
Introduction: We are excited to announce an opening for a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in Portland, OR. This position is ideal for a driven and compassionate professional eager to work in a school setting, where you can significantly impact children's lives through dedicated speech therapy services.
Job Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders among students.
- Design and implement therapy plans tailored to the individual needs of each student.
- Collaborate with school personnel, parents, and other healthcare providers to ensure a cohesive approach to student care.
- Document progress and adjust therapy plans based on student responses and needs.
- Educate school staff and family members on strategies to support the communication development of students.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
- Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Oregon.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Experience in a school or pediatric setting highly regarded.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
