Job Description: Soliant is seeking a qualified and passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time, school-based position in Lawrence, MA, for the 2024/2025 school year. The successful candidate will work with students to assess and treat communication and swallowing disorders, providing essential support to enhance their academic success and overall well-being.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations of speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Provide direct therapy services to students in individual and group settings.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of student progress and therapy sessions.
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Current Massachusetts state licensure as an SLP.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred.
- Experience in a school setting is preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaborative skills.
State-Specific Requirements:
- Must hold or be eligible for Massachusetts state licensure as an SLP.
- Compliance with all Massachusetts state requirements for school-based SLPs, including background checks and certifications.
