Speech Language Pathologist Assistant – Columbus, NE
Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Speech Language Pathologist Assistants (SLPAs) for a full-time position with school districts in the Columbus, NE area. We are seeking dedicated professionals committed to supporting students' communication and language development.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active Nebraska SLPA license
- Previous experience as a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant in a school setting preferred
- Strong understanding of speech and language development and intervention strategies
- Must meet all local and state education and certification requirements

Responsibilities
- Assist Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) in providing therapy services to students
- Implement therapy activities and intervention plans under the supervision of an SLP
- Work with students individually and in group settings to improve speech, language, and communication skills
- Collect and document data on student progress and report findings to the SLP
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student success
- Maintain compliance with state, district, and federal special education regulations
