Job Details:
- Contract Length: School year
- Work Schedule: Full-time, school hours
- Responsibilities:
- Assist the Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in providing therapy to students
- Implement individualized education programs (IEPs) and therapy plans
- Monitor and document student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other staff
- Requirements:
- Education: Associate’s degree or higher in Communication Disorders or related field
- Certification: Valid SLPA certification from the state of Illinois
- Experience: Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
- Skills: Strong communication and organizational skills, ability to work collaboratively
State-Specific Requirements:
- Must hold an active Speech Language Pathologist Assistant license in Illinois
