Contract Speech Language Pathologist Assistant
ProCare Therapy is working with a school district in Bay City, TX that is looking to hire a certified speech language pathologist assistant for the remainder of the 2024-2025 school year with the opportunity to renew for the following school year.
The SLPA will work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to provide direct support to students with communication disorders or delays.
The selected candidate will be hired on as a full time contracted employee through ProCare Therapy. A full school year contract will be awarded for you to complete. While undergoing your assignment, you will be provided with: competitive compensation, weekly paychecks, and superior healthcare benefits through United Healthcare.
Schedule:
- Full time: 32.5 - 35 hours per week
- Monday - Friday
- Hours: 7:30 - 3:30
- Elementary school: 1st & 2nd grade caseload
- 1:1 and small group
- Experience with AAC devices
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Speech Pathology or Communication Disorders
- SLPA license in Texas
- Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check
