We are currently seeking a dedicated and licensed Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join a school district in Vallejo, CA. This full-time role provides an opportunity to work closely with students and support their communication development.
Role Overview:
As an SLPA, you will assist licensed Speech-Language Pathologists in providing therapy to students. You will implement treatment plans, document progress, and collaborate with school staff to ensure students receive the support they need to thrive academically and socially.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support SLPs in delivering therapy services to students.
- Implement individualized treatment plans as directed by the SLP.
- Conduct therapy sessions in individual or group settings.
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records.
- Collaborate with teachers and other school staff to support student goals.
- Assist with screenings and assessments as needed.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field.
- Active SLPA license in California.
- Experience in a school or pediatric setting is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team.
