Full-Time SLPA Position Near Wills Point, TX
Soliant Health is seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for a full-time role in a school district near Wills Point, Texas. This position begins immediately and continues through May 29, 2025, offering the opportunity to support a diverse caseload of students.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct therapy services to students as outlined in their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Maintain accurate documentation of IEP progress and therapy sessions.
- Complete Medicaid billing documentation as required.
- Collaborate with the onsite Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to meet student needs.
- Respond promptly to requests and guidance from the supervising SLP.
Qualifications
- Licensed as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant in Texas.
- Previous experience with school-based therapy services is preferred.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills.
- Ability to work with a caseload of approximately 25 students, including PreK-1st grade and some high school students.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills to support student success.
This full-time position, with daily hours from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm, offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' communication skills and development.
