We are currently seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for a full-time role in Manor, TX. This position offers an immediate start and the opportunity to support students’ communication needs in a collaborative educational setting.
Position Overview:
As a full-time SLPA, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to deliver therapy services to students. Your role will include implementing treatment plans, monitoring progress, and collaborating with school staff to foster students’ communication development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech therapy services to students as outlined by the supervising SLP.
- Assist in the implementation of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
- Collect and document data on student progress.
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student success.
- Maintain compliance with school policies and state regulations.
Qualifications:
- Active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license in Texas.
- Previous experience in a school setting is preferred but not required.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
