Speech Language Pathology Assistant - Exciting Opportunity Near Strasburg, VA
ProCare Therapy is seeking a passionate and skilled Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our team and support students in a school district near Strasburg, VA, for the remainder of the 2024-2025 academic year.
Position Overview:
- Status: Full-Time
- Academic Year: 2024-2025
- Grade Levels: K-12
- Compensation: $28-$33 per hour
Key Duties:
- Assist students in improving their speech and language abilities under the supervision of a licensed Speech Language Pathologist.
- Collaborate with teachers to help students meet their communication and behavioral objectives.
- Maintain accurate records and progress reports for all students.
- Assist in conducting screenings, follow-up sessions, and interventions as needed.
- Attend ARD meetings to provide valuable input on student development and goals.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Speech Language Pathology or related field.
- Valid SLPA certification in the state of Virginia.
