Position Details:
- Location: Cary, NC
- Hours: 35 hours per week (part-time options available)
- Caseload: K-12 students
- Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy services to students as prescribed by the Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Assist in conducting assessments and evaluations
- Collaborate with the educational team to support students' individual needs
- Document therapy sessions and progress
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings as required
Requirements:
- North Carolina SLPA Credentials (required to work in North Carolina schools)
- Experience: Previous experience working as an SLPA is preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Must pass a background check as required by North Carolina school regulations
