Full Time SLPA Contract Job

Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Speech-Language Pathologist Assistants (SLPAs) for a full-time role with school districts in the Columbus, GA area. We are looking for dedicated professionals to support our Speech-Language Pathologists in delivering effective therapy services to students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the implementation of speech and language therapy programs as developed by the supervising Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Conduct individual and group therapy sessions to enhance students' communication skills.
- Monitor student progress and document results, providing feedback to the supervising SLP.
- Employ prescribed techniques and strategies to support students in achieving their therapy goals.
- Collaborate with teachers and school staff to integrate therapy goals into the classroom environment.
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding student progress and strategies for at-home support.
- Maintain thorough and accurate records of therapy sessions and student progress.
Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant license in Georgia.
- Experience working with children, preferably in educational or clinical settings.
- Strong understanding of speech and language disorders and evidence-based treatment methods.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively under the supervision of a licensed SLP and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for documentation and reporting.
