We are currently hiring a dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) in Fitchburg, MA, to work with preschool and kindergarten students requiring AAC device support, articulation, and nonverbal communication assistance. This is a part-time opportunity with an ideal schedule for those passionate about early childhood language support.
Position Details:
- Caseload: Preschool/Kindergarten (Approx. 38 students)
- Schedule: 9:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
- Hours per Day: 6
- Hours per Week: 30
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language support to young students, primarily focusing on articulation and AAC devices.
- Collaborate with the lead SLP to support communication goals for nonverbal and verbal students.
- Create a positive, inclusive learning environment that promotes communication.
