Now Hiring: Speech Language Pathologist – Deland, FL
Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) for a full-time role with school districts in the Deland, FL area. We are looking for skilled professionals who are committed to helping students improve their communication abilities and succeed academically.
Requirements:
Applicants must meet all local and state requirements:
- Hold a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Possess an active Florida state SLP license
- Hold a Speech-Language Pathology Certificate from the Florida Department of Education
- Must have prior experience as a Speech Language Pathologist in a school or educational setting
- Applicants must meet all district and state compliance requirements
Applicants who do not meet the outlined requirements will not be considered for this role.
Responsibilities:
The Speech Language Pathologist role includes, but is not limited to:
- Administering speech and language evaluations and creating individualized treatment plans
- Developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students
- Providing direct therapy services to students in individual and group settings
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to track and adjust student progress
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation of therapy sessions, student assessments, and progress
- Participating in IEP meetings and ensuring student goals are being met
