Position Overview
- Job Title: Full-Time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
- Location: Concord, CA
- Schedule: 37.5 hours per week
- Caseload: Elementary to middle school students
- Start Date: ASAP
- End Date: End of the 2024/2025 school year
Key Responsibilities
- Provide speech therapy services to students with diverse needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to develop individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Support students in improving communication skills, including speech, language, and social interaction.
- Assist in monitoring and reporting student progress.
Qualifications
- SLP: Active California Speech-Language Pathologist license (or eligibility to obtain).
- SLPA: Active California Speech-Language Pathology Assistant license.
- Experience in a school-based setting is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.
