Are you passionate about helping students overcome communication challenges? Soliant Health is currently seeking a dedicated and qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a dynamic school district in Hammond, IN for the 2024-2025 academic year. This is a full-time position where you'll have the opportunity to make a lasting impact on students' lives by working closely with educators, families, and support staff to ensure students receive the services they need to succeed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in students.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students based on their unique needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create supportive learning environments.
- Provide direct therapy and intervention services to students.
- Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Maintain accurate documentation and records in compliance with school and state guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid Indiana SLP license (or eligibility to obtain one before the start date).
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but CFY candidates are welcome to apply.
- Prior experience working in a school setting is a plus, but not required.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
