Job Opportunity: Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) in San Francisco, CA
ProCare Therapy is excited to partner with San Francisco Unified School District to offer a full-time Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) position for the 2024-25 school year. This role involves working with Pre-K students, focusing on a non-traditional service approach for a low socio-economic student population. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language support to Pre-K students.
- Focus on delivering a non-traditional service approach where IEP duties are not required.
- Work with a low socio-economic student population.
- Collaborate with a supportive team to meet student needs.
Requirements:
- Must have active and in good-standing CA SLPA credentials.
- Prefer candidates with school-based experience.
- Align with district values: Student-Centered, Fearless, United, Social Justice, and Diversity Driven.
- Embrace team values: anti-racist, neurodiversity-affirming, and collaborative.
- Seek long-term commitment to the district rather than a short-term assignment.
Additional Information:
- Dates: Approximately 8.19.24 - 6.4.25.
- Hours: Full time, 37.5-40 hours per week, depending on assigned caseload.
- Competitive compensation and benefits package, $30+/hr
