Job Details:
- Position: Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Location: South El Monte, CA
- Start Date: Immediate
- Contract Duration: School Year (with potential extension)
- Work Hours: Full-time (37.5 hours per week)
- Caseload: PreK-12th grade students
- Student Disabilities: Mild to moderate, with opportunities to work with various age groups
- Setting: School-based (Collaborative team with teachers and other therapists)
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active California SLP License (or eligibility for CA licensure)
- ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP) preferred, but not required
- Prior school-based experience is a plus
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
State-Specific Requirements:
- Valid California state license as a Speech Language Pathologist
- Ability to clear a background check and TB test
