Full-Time School Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) w/ Benefits - Near Lovejoy, GA
A school district near Lovejoy, GA is currently seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) for the 2024-2025 school year. This full-time role offers guaranteed hours, a comprehensive benefits package and competitive pay.
Qualifications:
- Active SLPA license in Georgia
- Preferred: Experience working as an SLPA in school settings and/or with pediatric populations
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and indirect therapy services to students with disabilities, with the guidance of an on-site SLP
- Assist in preparing therapy materials (e.g., flashcards, worksheets, communication boards)
- Collect and share student progress data with the supervising SLP
- Participate in IEP meetings and update IEPs as needed
Work Schedule:
- Full-time, 35 hours per week Monday through Friday
