Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with certified Speech-Language Pathologists to deliver therapy services to students with communication challenges.
- Implement individualized treatment plans designed to meet students' specific needs.
- Work with students individually or in small groups to improve their communication skills.
- Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions, student progress, and compliance with IEP goals.
- Support a positive and inclusive learning environment by communicating effectively with students, parents, and school staff.
- Adapt therapy techniques to align with students’ ages, abilities, and learning environments.
Qualifications:
- Required: Active and valid SLPA license in Texas.
- Prior experience in a school or pediatric setting is preferred but not required.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with students, staff, and families.
- A collaborative mindset with a passion for fostering student growth and success.
- Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced educational setting.
