We are currently seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time position in La Center, WA. This role offers an immediate start and the opportunity to work with students to enhance their communication and language skills.
Position Overview:
As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will play a vital role in assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech and language disorders in students. Collaborating with educators, families, and school staff, you will develop and implement strategies that help students thrive academically and socially.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify students' speech and language needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessments.
- Provide direct therapy services to students.
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals to support students' IEP goals.
- Document progress and maintain compliance with school and state regulations.
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on student progress.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Current Washington state SLP license and certification.
- Experience working in schools or with pediatric populations is preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
