Full-time School-based Speech Language Pathologist
Holmen, WI
We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Speech Language Pathologist to join our team in the Holmen area of Wisconsin. This is a full-time position, starting as soon as possible until the end of the school year, with a caseload consisting of Elementary School students.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine speech and language delays or disorders in children.
- Develop individualized treatment plans and goals for each student based on their specific needs.
- Provide therapy sessions to improve speech and language skills, including articulation, fluency, and voice production.
- Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop strategies and interventions to support students within the classroom setting.
- Document progress, maintain accurate records, and provide comprehensive reports as necessary.
- Attend IEP meetings and contribute insights and recommendations regarding speech and language services.
Requirements:
- Valid license to practice as a Speech Language Pathologist in the state of Wisconsin.
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders from an accredited program.
- Previous experience working with preschool and elementary school-aged children preferred.
- Strong knowledge of various assessment tools and therapy techniques for diverse speech and language disorders.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with students, families, teachers, and other professionals.
- Ability to manage a high caseload and prioritize effectively.
- Familiarity with IEP process and documentation requirements.
- Professional, passionate, and compassionate approach to serving diverse student populations.
