Full-Time School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Position in Cahokia Heights, IL

We are looking for a compassionate and skilled Full-Time School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Cahokia Heights, IL. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact by providing speech therapy services to students in a school setting. You will work closely with teachers, parents, and support staff to create and implement individualized plans that help students develop communication skills and succeed academically.
Job Type: Full-Time 37.5 Hours Per Week (W2) - Onsite
Hourly Wage: $43+/hr
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy services to students in a school setting in Cahokia Heights, IL.
- Conduct evaluations and assessments to identify speech and language disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students’ needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure students' educational success.
- Document therapy sessions, progress, and goals in compliance with school and state regulations.
- Provide counseling and support to students and families as needed.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices.
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Licensure: Current and valid Michigan State Licensure (SLP).
- Certifications: ASHA Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP or CF-CCC)
