Full-Time School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist Opportunity – Newton, NC
ProCare Therapy is seeking a passionate and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a school-based position in Newton, North Carolina. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a supportive team while helping K–5th grade students achieve their communication goals.
Position Details
- Employment Type: Full-Time
- Dates: ASAP – May 22, 2025
- Hours: 35 hours per week
- Caseload: K–5th grade, approximately 40–45 students
- Location: Single school site in Newton, NC
Job Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments to identify students' speech, language, and communication needs.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans aligned with IEP goals.
- Provide direct and indirect therapy services to students.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student success.
- Document progress and maintain compliance with school and state requirements.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Active North Carolina SLP licensure or eligibility.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; CFY candidates are encouraged to apply.
- Previous experience in a school setting is a plus but not required.
