Position Overview:
Soliant Health is seeking committed and compassionate Paraprofessionals for full-time opportunities in Compton, CA. This role focuses on providing vital assistance to students with diverse learning needs within a supportive educational environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist teachers with implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) and lesson activities.
- Provide one-on-one or small group support to students, helping them stay engaged and succeed in the classroom.
- Support students with special needs by addressing their academic, social, and behavioral goals.
- Assist students with physical needs, including mobility and personal care, if required.
- Maintain a safe and encouraging learning environment.
- Communicate regularly with teachers and school staff regarding student progress and needs.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (required).
- Prior experience in a classroom or educational setting preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for working with children.
- Ability to follow teacher directions and adapt to the unique needs of each student.
