About Us: Soliant Health is dedicated to providing quality educational services to students across the nation. We are currently seeking a passionate and motivated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our team in Modesto, CA, for the upcoming 2024-2025 school year.
Position Overview: As a full-time SLPA, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to support students with speech and language disorders. Your role will involve assisting in the implementation of treatment plans, conducting therapy sessions, and documenting student progress. You will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' communication skills and overall educational experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Speech-Language Pathologist in conducting assessments and developing treatment plans.
- Implement therapy programs for students with various speech and language disorders.
- Document student progress and communicate findings to the supervising SLP.
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to support student learning and participation.
- Provide support in classroom settings to enhance students’ communication skills.
- Engage in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or a related field.
- Current SLPA certification in the state of California.
- Experience working with children in an educational setting is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- A passion for helping students succeed.
