Full-Time K-12 Speech Language Pathologist Assistant Opportunity Open

Blazer Jobs is seeking an experienced Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) for a full-time position in Crown Point, Indiana. As a key member of the school-based team, you will work alongside Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) to provide critical support for students with speech and language difficulties. This role involves delivering therapy services, collaborating with educators, and helping students meet their communication goals.
Responsibilities
- Assist SLPs in delivering speech and language services as outlined in IEPs.
- Provide direct therapy to students under the supervision of licensed SLPs.
- Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and student progress.
- Collaborate with teachers and other school staff to integrate communication goals into the classroom.
- Participate in IEP meetings as needed and provide input on student progress.
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor's degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
- Valid Indiana SLPA license or certification.
- At least one year of experience working as an SLPA in a school or pediatric setting.
- Familiarity with Indiana’s special education regulations.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
