Position: Full-Time School Speech-Language Pathologist
Location: Hackettstown, NJ
Duration: 2024-2025 School Year (Maternity Leave Coverage)
About the Role:
As a School SLP, you will work collaboratively with a diverse team of educators and support staff to provide high-quality speech and language services to students. Your expertise will help students overcome communication challenges, enhance their learning experience, and achieve their academic goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students' speech and language needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and interventions.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to support student growth.
- Provide direct therapy services to students in both individual and group settings.
- Monitor progress and adjust goals and strategies as necessary.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of students' educational plans.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Valid SLP license in New Jersey.
- ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Experience working in a school setting is a plus, but new graduates are welcome to apply!
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
