Position Details:
- Location: Danbury, CT (Elementary School)
- Schedule: Full-Time (Monday-Friday)
- School Year: 2024-2025
- Start Date: August 2024
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized speech and language therapy to elementary-aged students
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support students' communication needs
- Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans to help students with speech, language, and communication disorders
- Monitor progress and adjust interventions as necessary to meet IEP goals
- Participate in IEP meetings and maintain accurate documentation
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) or CFY candidates encouraged to apply
- Connecticut state licensure or ability to obtain licensure
- Previous experience in a school setting is preferred but not required
