Overview: Soliant is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team for the 2024-2025 school year at an elementary school in Houston, TX. As an SLP, you will work with students to develop and enhance their communication skills, collaborate with educators and parents, and contribute to a supportive learning environment.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify speech and language disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans.
- Provide direct therapy and support to students with communication challenges.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of therapy sessions and student progress.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid Texas SLP license or eligibility for licensure.
- ASHA Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Experience working in an elementary school setting is a plus.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
