Job Overview:
We are looking for a full-time Audiologist to serve students in a K-12 school district in Spanaway, WA. This role requires an ESA (Educational Staff Associate) certification and a degree in Audiology from an accredited program.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct hearing screenings and diagnostic assessments for K-12 students.
- Provide recommendations and accommodations to support students with hearing impairments.
- Work closely with school staff to ensure students’ needs are met and documented.
- Create individualized support plans and ensure they are implemented effectively.
- Educate staff and parents on hearing-related issues and assist in the development of strategies to support students’ learning.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Audiology from an accredited institution.
- ESA certification (Educational Staff Associate) required in Washington State.
- Experience in school-based audiology services is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with educators and families.
