Full-time 24-25 school year Speech Language Pathologist position
ProCare Therapy is currently accepting applications for a Full-Time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) position in the area north of Elk Grove, CA, for the 24/25 school year. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional seeking a rewarding career in a supportive educational environment. A successful candidate will work with an assigned caseload of students across multiple school sites, including elementary, middle and high schools
As an SLP, you will be responsible for providing high-quality speech and language therapy services to students, ensuring their educational and communication needs are met
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students' speech and language needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Provide direct therapy services to students in both individual and group settings
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement intervention strategies
- Monitor student progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans
- Document and maintain accurate records of therapy sessions and student progress
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid state licensure or ability to obtain CA state licensure
- ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) preferred but school is open do discussing bringing on new grads
- Experience working with pediatric populations, particularly in a school setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
