Overview:
Soliant Health is seeking a dedicated and passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Fort Covington, NY for the 2024-2025 school year. This position involves providing 1:1 and group therapy, along with comprehensive case management, to support the speech and language needs of K-12 students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments to determine student needs.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans and goals.
- Provide direct therapy services in both individual and group settings.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to ensure effective support for students.
- Maintain accurate documentation and case management records.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student progress discussions.
- Stay updated on the latest best practices and strategies in speech-language pathology.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Current state licensure and ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Previous experience working in a school setting is a plus, but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Passion for working with children and helping them succeed.
