Job Details:
Pay Range: $45+/hr (depending on experience)
- Onsite in Port Salerno, FL
- Remainder of the 2024-2025 school year
- Full Time position, 37.5 hours/week
- ASAP - May 2025
- K-12th grade caseloads
- Variable caseload depending on candidate preference of age group and experience
- 1 or multiple school sites (mileage can be reimbursed between school sites)
- More caseload/position details to be provided during interview process

Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments to determine eligibility for special education services and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
- Provide individual and group therapy services to students with speech and language disorders, targeting goals outlined in their IEPs.
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop and implement strategies to support communication skills in the classroom and school community.
- Participate in district-wide initiatives to promote positive school climate, cultural responsiveness, and social justice.
- Provide training and support to teachers and other school staff regarding strategies to support students with speech and language disorders.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Valid Florida DOH state licensure as an SLP and certification of clinical competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
- Strong knowledge of current theories, research, and best practices in the field of speech-language pathology.
- Experience working with diverse student populations and demonstrated cultural competence.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
