Florida Speech Language Pathology (SLP) Part-Time
We are seeking a compassionate and qualified Speech-Language Pathologist to join our school-based team in Key West, FL, for a part-time position. The role requires providing speech and language therapy services to a mixed caseload of elementary students (grades K-5). The position is part-time, with a commitment of 2 days per week.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments for students in grades K-5.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to students' needs.
- Provide direct therapy services in a group or individual setting.
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to support students’ speech and language development in the classroom.
- Track and document student progress, adjusting therapy goals as necessary.
- Participate in IEP meetings and work with parents and staff to ensure student success.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of therapy services provided.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid Florida state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Previous experience working in schools is preferred.
- Ability to develop and implement effective therapy plans.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
