Experienced Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant Required for Student Therapy

Blazer Jobs is looking for a full-time Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to provide services in schools located in Dudley, Massachusetts. In this position, you will work with Speech Language Pathologists to support students with speech and communication challenges, ensuring they receive the care and interventions needed to succeed academically.
Responsibilities
- Assist SLPs in delivering speech therapy services to students with a variety of communication needs.
- Monitor and document student progress, providing updates to the supervising SLP.
- Work closely with educators and parents to ensure continuity of care.
- Support SLPs with IEP development and implementation of speech-related goals.
- Help create and prepare therapy materials to aid in the intervention process.
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Speech Language Pathology or related field.
- Valid SLPA license or certification in Massachusetts.
- At least one year of professional experience working as an SLPA.
- Familiarity with Massachusetts special education laws.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
