Job Description:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to join a supportive school district for the upcoming school year. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work with a diverse student population while making a lasting impact on their communication and social skills.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement tailored treatment plans to meet students' needs
- Provide therapy services to students in both individual and group settings
- Foster collaboration with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student success
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of student progress and intervention plans
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders.
- Active State Speech-Language Pathology Assistant License.
- Previous experience in a school setting is a plus but not required.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.
