We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team for an Early Intervention position in the Birmingham, AL area. This rewarding role focuses on providing vital support to preschool-aged children, helping them develop essential communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine eligibility for early intervention services.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans (IEPs) tailored to each child's needs.
- Provide direct speech and language therapy in a preschool setting.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other early intervention professionals.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to a collaborative environment.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid Alabama SLP license.
- Experience working with preschool-aged children and early intervention.
- Knowledge of early childhood development and best practices in early intervention.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Schedule:
- Preschool Hours: Typically between 8:00 AM and 3:00 PM, specific schedule to be determined.
- Full time or Part time options available.
Compensation:
- Competitive hourly rate, paid as a W2 contract employee.
- Based on research, the average hourly pay range for a W2 contract School SLP in the Birmingham, AL area is approximately $40-$55 per hour. The actual rate will be determined based on experience and qualifications.
