Job Title: School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
Location: Summerville, South Carolina
Job Description: Soliant is currently seeking a passionate and dedicated School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Summerville, South Carolina and surrounding areas for the remainder of the school year. As an SLP, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of students by helping them overcome speech and language disorders, improving their communication skills, and enhancing their overall educational experience. Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students' speech and language abilities
- Develop individualized treatment plans to address students' communication goals
- Provide direct therapy services to students with speech and language disorders
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' communication needs within the school environment
- Monitor students' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation and reports
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of students' Individualized Education Programs
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure in South Carolina
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred
- Experience working with school-aged children is preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team
- Passion for helping children overcome communication challenges
