Job Overview: We're on the lookout for a skilled and passionate Speech-Language Pathologist to join us as an independent contractor. In this role, you'll be delivering telehealth services to students in schools, addressing speech and language disorders to enhance their academic and social success.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct virtual assessments to diagnose and evaluate speech and language disorders.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on individual student needs.
- Collaborate with school staff, teachers, and parents to ensure holistic support for students.
- Conduct virtual therapy sessions targeting communication challenges and improving speech and language skills.
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and communicate effectively with relevant stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Valid Idaho licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- ASHA Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).
- Previous experience working with school-aged children, preferably in a telehealth capacity.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and a dedicated workspace for virtual sessions.
Requirements:
- Availability during standard school hours.
- Proficiency in using telehealth platforms for virtual sessions.
- Comfort working independently as a 1099 contractor.
- Compliance with state and federal regulations regarding telehealth services.
