Position Overview:
ProCare Therapy is excited to announce an opening for a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) in Watertown, MA. Starting January 2, 2025, this in-person role involves working closely with licensed SLPs to provide therapy services that support students’ communication development and academic success.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assist licensed SLPs in implementing individualized therapy plans.
- Conduct therapy sessions under direct supervision.
- Document student progress and provide accurate reports.
- Collaborate with SLPs, educators, and families to enhance student outcomes.
- Prepare and organize materials for therapy sessions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Communication Sciences, Speech-Language Pathology, or a related field.
- Active SLPA license in the state of Massachusetts.
- Prior experience working with children or in a school setting is a plus.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
