Job Description:
As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will assess and address speech and language challenges in students, helping them achieve their communication and learning goals. You’ll work closely with school staff, parents, and other professionals to support student success in the classroom and beyond.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and diagnose speech and language disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans.
- Provide direct therapy sessions to students in group or individual settings.
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support students’ needs.
- Document progress, maintain compliance with school regulations, and contribute to IEP meetings.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Active SLP license in Virginia (ASHA CCC-SLP certification preferred).
- Previous experience in schools or with pediatric populations is a plus.
- Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills.
