Contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Job

Blazer Jobs has partnered with a school district in the Stockton, CA area to hire a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for the 2024-2025 school year. This position is in a special education setting, providing an exciting opportunity to support students with communication and speech challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to students in a special education setting.
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to create and implement IEPs (Individualized Education Plans).
- Track and document student progress, adjusting therapy as needed.
- Maintain a safe and supportive learning environment for all students.
Requirements:
- State licensure and certifications as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in California (please specify required certifications).
- At least one year of experience in a school or special education setting is preferred.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
- A passion for helping students achieve their speech and language goals.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Competitive hourly pay: $52–$58 per hour based on experience.
