Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial screenings and in-depth assessments to identify students’ speech, language, and communication needs.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in alignment with each student’s goals, with supervision and support.
- Deliver therapy sessions focusing on speech, language, and social communication improvement.
- Collaborate with educators, staff, and parents to foster an inclusive learning environment for students.
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to goal-setting for students.
- Document therapy sessions, progress, and evaluations accurately and promptly.
- Engage in regular supervision meetings for mentorship and professional development.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Eligibility for Alabama licensure and ASHA’s Clinical Fellowship (CF) certification.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Dedication to supporting students’ educational and social growth.
- Openness to learning and adapting in a structured mentorship environment.
