As an SLP in our district, you'll have the chance to:
- Evaluate and identify communication disorders in students
- Create and execute tailored therapy plans to address individual student needs
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and fellow professionals to ensure student progress
- Deliver intervention services to students with diverse speech and language requirements
- Continuously monitor student development and adapt therapy strategies accordingly
Requirements:
- Hold a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Possess valid North Carolina state licensure (or be eligible for licensure)
- While prior experience in a school setting is preferred, it's not mandatory
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential
