Key Responsibilities:
- Comprehensive Assessments: Conduct thorough evaluations using both standardized tests and clinical observations to accurately identify each student's unique speech and language needs.
- Tailored Therapy: Design and implement individualized therapy plans that address a wide range of communication disorders, from articulation and fluency to language and social communication.
- Collaborative Teamwork: Work closely with educators, parents, and fellow specialists to create a supportive learning environment that encourages student success and growth.
- Progress Monitoring: Maintain detailed and accurate records of student progress, adjusting therapy plans as needed to ensure the best outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Licensing: You must hold or be eligible for a SLP license, ensuring you’re ready to step into this role with confidence.
- Certification: ASHA certification is a plus, but not a deal-breaker. Your skills and dedication to student success are what matter most.
- Experience: While previous experience in a school setting is helpful, it’s not mandatory. If you have the passion and skills to make a difference, we want to hear from you.
