Job Description: As a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) at Soliant, you will play a vital role in helping students overcome communication challenges and achieve their academic and social-emotional goals. You will assess, diagnose, and provide individualized therapy to students with a variety of speech, language, and communication disorders. Collaborating closely with teachers, parents, and other members of the multidisciplinary team, you will develop and implement comprehensive intervention plans tailored to each student's unique needs.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and screenings to identify speech and language disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and therapy goals.
- Provide direct therapy services to students, both individually and in group settings.
- Monitor student progress and adjust intervention strategies as needed.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' academic and social success.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of therapy sessions and student progress.
- Stay current on best practices and research in the field of speech-language pathology.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders.
- California state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Experience working with school-aged children, preferably in a school or pediatric setting.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Proficiency in utilizing technology for virtual therapy sessions (if applying for virtual position).
